Claire Martin is a Registered Landscape Architect and Associate Director with the Melbourne studio of OCULUS, where she is responsible for the direction, management and delivery of complex public realm and infrastructure projects. She is a member of the Office of the Victorian Government Architect’s Victorian Design Review Panel and a Contributing Editor of Landscape Architecture Australia. Claire is passionate about evidence based research and education and has taught design in the School of Architecture & Design, RMIT University where she is a member of the Landscape Architecture Program Advisory Committee, and invited critic and examiner. Claire was the recipient of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture’s Jim Sinatra National Future Leaders Award and Co-Creative Director of This Public Life, Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture’s 2015 Festival of Landscape Architecture.
